Oat Icon by GrumpyCinnamonster Oat Icon by GrumpyCinnamonster
Oatmeal is not my fursona or anything like that, but I love him, so I made myself an icon of him after watching :iconfishteeth: stream. She has an amazing talent with pixel art. Go watch her now!

Oatmeal and art belong to :icongrumpycinnamonster:

Amazing depth and detail, Surely you are correct!
She is indeed a fascinating specimen... I adore it!

I need to know, what program/tool did you use for such details!?
I see some amazing pixel art, but never knew how they quite do it... I always wanted a program to give it my own go... Recommend?

Paint Tool Sai, but MS Paint works too, and it's free.with Windows. I would have done it in MS Paint, but I wasn't familiar with the newer version on Win7. Honestly, I wasn't familiar with Sai's pixel tools either, so that also took some getting used too. A long time ago I use to just do my pixel stuff in OekakiBBS. Details won't depend on the program you use. You just have to experiment, and keep zooming in and out to check how it looks at actual size. :iconfishteeth: has a neat tutorial for how she does pixel art. I suggest checking it out. It helped me out a lot. C:
